✨ About the Founder
Meet Tanya Austin — candle maker, joy spreader, and the kind of person who lights up every room (literally and figuratively). What started as a cozy hobby turned into a full-blown passion project, and now she’s the proud founder of Maison Wick, a brand built on feel-good scents and good ol’ Southern charm.
She pours every candle by hand with love, care, and high-quality ingredients—no shortcuts, no fluff. Just pure, comforting goodness in every jar. Whether it’s a calming lavender moment or a sweet, memory-filled scent like marshmallow and mint, Tanya knows how to make your home feel like home.
But here’s the best part: she’s not just here to sell candles—she’s here to make an impact. Through her school fundraiser program, Maison Wick partners with PTAs, teachers, and community leaders to help raise money in a way that’s actually fun (and smells amazing while doing it).
When she’s not pouring candles or planning the next glow-up for a fundraiser, you’ll find her preparing something festive, scrolling through Christmas décor ideas in June, and making people laugh until their sides hurt.

Basically? She’s your new favorite candle lady. Let her light up your world—one scent at a time.

My Story
It all starting with Christmas Gifts.........
I was making candles at home one holiday season, just for fun—something heartfelt to share with friends and family. The process was relaxing, the house smelled amazing, and I loved giving something handmade. I didn’t think much of it beyond that… but my daughter did.She looked at me and said, “We should start a candle business.”At first, I brushed it off. But she kept saying it—and something about her excitement stuck with me. So we went for it. Together, we started our own little candle business, unsure of what would come of it.A few months in, the vision slowly shifted. Life got busy, and I ended up running things on my own. What started as a small mother-daughter project quietly became my passion. Orders were coming in, people were loving the candles, and I realized this was more than a hobby—it was a calling. After about a year of steady growth and support, I decided it was time to level up and give this business a name that reflected its quality, care, and style. That’s when Maison Wick was born—a brand built on warmth, intention, and the beauty of scent.Every candle still carries the same love I poured into those first holiday gifts, just with a glow that reaches a little further now.
